Sealed With A Kiss- Review!!

What’s a girl to do when her celebrity crush needs her to be his fake girlfriend?

Sealed With a Kiss, an all-new opposites attract romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Erin Nicholas is available now!

BLURB:

Keep her damned feelings to herself, of course.

Child TV star turned adult wallflower Naomi LeClaire has vowed never to return to the spotlight.

But when she’s stuck in a storm with Donovan Foster, the hot, charming, wild-life rescuing internet sensation, and she finally gives in and kisses him...and a few articles of clothing end up on the floor...suddenly her simple, quiet life is tossed upside down.

Especially after the paparazzi catches a heat-of-the-moment kiss. Now everyone assumes she's his girlfriend and, when she realizes that’s the best way to keep Donovan out of trouble, Naomi agrees to play along. Even though it puts her center stage with her private life in very public view. Again.

They’re a whirlwind of opposites-attract chemistry the fans love, but they'll surely blow over faster than a Gulf Coast hurricane. As long as they can keep straight what's real and what's just a once-in-a-lifetime fantasy.

My Review:
My Rating: 3.5 Stars

We were introduced to Naomi and Donovan in the previous books of this series. Naomi used to be a child tv star, but has since moved back home and is trying to keep her life low key. She is always prepared for any situation. Donovan lives life on the edge and has saved multiple animals in daring rescues. Naomi developed a crush on Donovan as she's gotten to know him, but hasn't acted on it until one night during a hurricane. The two have explosive chemistry and start a no strings attachment that both know is just a lie. The reason for them not to have a relationship is because Donovan doesn't tend to stay in one place for very long.

This was a cute book, but for me just seemed too focused on outside characters and I missed Naomi and Donovan falling in love. We walk into this story with both already having strong feelings for each other. There were some definite hot moments but I missed something I can't explain in this story. I did enjoy seeing the other Landry's and even the Hot Cake characters, but I just didn't feel the connection to Naomi and Donovan. This could definitely be a me situation because I know most of the people who read it loved it. However, I was more excited by the last part of the chapter and the next book in the series than I was about this book.
