Small Town Swoon will make you swoon for Ari and Dash. Dashiel (Dash) is back in Cherry Tree Harbor for a wedding when his little sister's best friend Ari injures her hand. He goes to her family's diner the next day and ends up helping out. The two end up hanging out more and things tend to escalate. The problem is Dash wants the Hollywood life while Ari is just a small town girl.

I absolutely love Ari and finding out why she disliked Dash in the previous books of this series. You do not need to read the other books in this series in order to enjoy this one! I also love that Ari knows what she wants and seeing her passion for food come through the pages. I also enjoyed seeing how much she loves her family and the loyalty to them even if sometimes dreams of something more.

I loved Dash too and his interactions with his family. Some of the conversations had me cracking up. I adored watching him open up to Ari and taking care of her.

These two were great separately, but together they were dynamite! They brought out the best of each other and their friendship was amazing as well as how much they believed in each other. The chemistry between Dash and Ari was scorching and everything and more you would want in a Melanie Harlow book.

I had high hopes for this book and Melanie knocked them out of the park. I also enjoyed seeing some of the Easter eggs Melanie put in this book for her loyal readers too see. Sometimes you have to wonder if two people have different dreams, can their be a way to merge them together and create a new one?
