To Love a Prince Review

To Love a Prince by Nana Malone

Synopsis: Provided by Goodreads

The good news is, I'm out of exile and I have the woman I love by my side. And I still have my crown, tarnished though it may be.

The bad news is...all of that is temporary.

There are those that want me as far away from the crown as possible. I still have a killer on my tail who has a more permanent solution in mind. Oh and there's the small matter of all the secrets I'm keeping from Ariel.

For her I risked it all, but will she wind up paying the price?

Once she knows my secrets. What will she do to protect me and the crown?

What will I be willing to do to protect her?

The answer is: everything.

My Review:
Rating: 4 stars

This book picked up right where the last one stopped. I enjoyed unveiling the mystery of who was trying to kill Tristan. This book was different in the first one as that it had a couple of other characters POV besides just Tristan and Ariels. I have come to like the dual POV between the couple to understand what motivates the characters. I will say I love how the women in Nana's books are not damsels in distress but can kick butt when and if needed, even if it's their significant others. Tristan and Ariel's romance was not angst filled but not all sunshine and rainbows. It seemed very authentic to a real relationship. Again, I did not read some of the other side series of this book and I was still able to follow most of the characters, but after reading about Sebastian and Penny and now Tristan and Ariel I can't wait to read more from Nana. Although, I do know my lesson and I will make sure to have both books before starting the first one because they always end on a cliffhanger and you just devour them.
