Hannah is a successful Interior Designer and is getting ready for a big promotion. The only flaw is she just got stuck in an elevator with Gage, the hot guy from the floor above hers. While getting stuck in the elevator the two strike up a conversation and Gage lets on that his mother and sisters won't leave him alone until he finds a girlfriend. He ends up asking Hannah to be his fake date for the Holidays which ends up getting her out of her own family merriment that she wasn't looking forward to. Will this fake couple become something more permanent or is this only for the holidays?

While I liked this book I just never really connected with either Hannah or Gage. There was just something missing between the two. I did enjoy meeting Gage's family and seeing the older people at the retirement home. If you like Hallmark movies though, you might like this one.
