Gracie is new to the small town and while she's a little accident prone she does her best to not be such a clutz. Jensen is one of the town's firefighters and Vaughan brothers who just happens to have gone through some rough moments before Gracie arrives in town. After not having the best first impression Gracie and Jensen don't get along with each other hurling interesting insults at each other, except Jensen is always there to try and keep Gracie safe from herself. After Jensen falls down the stairs trying to help Gracie once again he becomes injured and the whole town thinks Gracie did it on purpose. Gracie is one of the best physical therapists in town and tasks herself with getting the town's beloved grump back to 100%. As the two spend more time together the bickering changes to combustible chemistry the two try to hide from the other. Will they both finally lower the walls around their hearts or will they continue to be enemies?

This was a great book with lots of humor, heart and heat. I loved the bickering between Jensen and Gracie and Gracie did not take any of Jensen's crap. I loved how the author showed Jensen's family and how close they all were and I hope we are going to get more books with the other siblings. I also loved the friendship between Gracie and Dani. I feel like I need to read Falling for the Grinch to see how Jensen and Gracie were in that book, but this one can be read as a standalone. Both Gracie and Jensen were going through things based on their pasts and I'm glad they had each other to see their pasts don't define them. Overall, if you are looking for a hilarious, small town romcom with two strong leads then this is a book for you.

Grace is best friends with Carter’s brother Oliver and both work together at the hospital. Carter is actually the attending doctor as Grace is one of his residents he is in charge of. Grace ends up finding her fiancé is cheating and goes to what she thinks is her best friend, Oliver's, apartment only to show up and remember that he moved out and Carter lives there now. Carter invites her in and she tells him what happened and he invites her to live with him while she tries to figure out a new place to live and what she is going to do. When Carter came to the hospital last year and saw Grace again he couldn't help but notice her beauty and as the two worked together he has fallen deeper for her, but never acted on it since she was in a relationship. Now is his chance to show her everything he has to offer, but can he prove that he's more than what she thinks he is? And is Grace really the right woman for him long term? When the attraction gets too intense they end up sleeping together and then Grace ends up pregnant. Can she trust herself and Carter? Can Carter prove they can make through this together?

This was a cute story, with some serious chemistry between Grace and Carter. I really liked Carter's character and I liked how Grace had to work through her problems. She just didn't wake up one day and forget everything that happened. What will Oliver say when he finds out about his best friend and his brother? This book had other characters from the previous books and while it might give deeper into the secondary characters it's okay to start with this book. If you are looking for a best friend's brother, work romance, heat, and character development this book is for you.

This was a cute novella. Lily has had a crush on Declan since she started working at Rockline Studios, but thinks it's unrequited. Declan is the same way however, both think their feelings are unrequited. While there is no actual rule about dating a coworker everyone knows it's frowned upon especially after the last time there was interoffice dating.The night of the New Year's Eve party Declan decides to go for it. Will these two finally get on the same page? This was a short steamy story that flowed well. I can't wait to read the other Holiday stories.

The Groves and the Lords have been locked in a feud for many years, but Paisley and Hercules became secret friends in High School and then when they were in college had one night together. Now 7 years later they are thrown in the same room and there is still the spark that threatens to consume them. If they act on it will everything be okay or will it burn the world they know to pieces?

This was the first time I have read this author and honestly this book wasn't for me. I thought it was just okay. What I did like was the idea of the story and some of the side characters. I liked how the author made it clear where she was going to start in the next story and the idea of the next pair that will probably get together. However, I didn't fall in love with the characters or their story, but just read it. It never made me fall into the book and get lost. I felt at times the writing was too much telling and not letting the story just unfold naturally. There were jumps in time that seemed out of place instead of just rolling together. I never felt the love between them, but more the lust. I like sexy books, but this one seemed to focus more on the sexy and not the intamcy and build up to falling in love and risking everything for the one you love. I thought Paisley and Hercules both seemed very immature. 

I will say this and I do say this with every book that isn't for me. Not everyone is going to love the same book. If you are thinking about reading this story then look at the other reviews and see if it fits into something that you might enjoy. This book wasn't for me, but it might be right for you.

Lexie was a great character who knew who she was and wouldn't let anyone change her or make her feel bad about herself. Ethan definitely had some growing to do in this story to make him the right man for Lexie. This was a cute story that had some miscommunication problems, a few sassy kids, a whole lot of small town Christmas charm and a guy begging for his "wife" to give him a chance.

Hawk is a single dad trying to raise his daughter right. Needing an extra set of hands to help with Carly while he's working Hawk decides to get a nanny. The woman he hired based on his friends recommendation just happens to be the woman he had a scorching hot make out session a few weeks ago. Now Hawk and Daisy have to try and deny the chemistry between them as Daisy helps out with Carly and cohabitates with them. After all Hawk's rule is to not sleep with the nanny and Daisy's rule is to not sleep with her boss. This was a cute story that had low angst, hot cowboys and fun flirtations. If you are looking for a fun, light read with southern boys and a slow burn romance, this book is for you.

SADDLE UP- 4 Stars

Clint is the oldest brother of the Ryker ranch and is trying to find a way to keep his ranch afloat after the death of his father and his ex fiancé taking all his money and leaving. Clint's mom ends up contacting a producer who shows interest in making the ranch a reality show. Think survivor meets city slickers. Ever and her assistant come to the Ryker ranch to look around and get the contract signed. As soon as Clint and Ever meet there is a spark of attraction. Clint decides the only way he will sign the contract is if Ever spends time trying to learn how to be a ranch hand. As the two spend more time together the chemistry keeps building. 

This is my second book by this author and I enjoyed it. This book had low angst and swoon worthy cowboys. I also enjoyed how close their family was and am interested in the other kids of the Ryker family. Both Ever and Clint were guarded for good reasons but I think everything fell into place really well. I can't wait to read the next book. 

BUCKED OFF-3 Stars

Buck is the younger brother of Clint, who we met in Saddle Up. The tv producers of Saddle Up want Buck to play up the romance in the show with the female contestants. Not wanting to do that, Buck tells the producers he's engaged. The only problem is that he is single with no romantic ties to anyone. Enter Penny, a massage therapist who is trying to save money to buy her dream house. Penny and Buck are not strangers either, the two met when they were in high school and shared their first kiss. Something happened though and now Penny hates Buck, but yet still agreed to be his fake fiancée. This book had potential, except I didn't like Penny. She's held a grudge from 10 years ago, when Buck was 17 and hasn't realized he's not the same boy he was back then. The enemies to lovers trope is one of my favorites and while I liked Buck, I just didn't care for Penny. She wasn't sassy; she was at times bitter and cold. I also couldn't understand how fast she turned from hot to cold. This book did have some steamy scenes, but it wasn't my favorite. I am looking forward to Tristan's story though after seeing him in this book and knowing what his story is going to be about.

RIDDEN HARD- 3.5 Stars

Tristan is the youngest brother of Buck and Clint, who were the male leads in the other two books. While all these books can be read as standalones, it's great to read them together to see their bond as a family. Tristan is used to one night stands and being the wild Ryker. One night when he goes to visit his brother Sam on the rodeo circuit he meets Hazel. Hazel is recently divorced, trying to pull herself back together after losing everything that she had worked hard for. Her sister, Erin, convinces her she just needs one hot night with a cowboy to feel better. As soon as Hazel and Tristan meet the chemistry between them pulls them together. Just one night and no last names, they tell each other and in the morning they go their separate ways. Both continue to think of their night together and then Hazel finds out she's pregnant. Hazel ends up figuring out how to locate Tristan and goes to the ranch to tell him she's pregnant. Hazel doesn't expect Tristan to want anything to do with the baby, but he surprises her and she spends some time with him getting to know him and his family. Will Hazel understand that Tristan wants to be there for her and the baby? Will she be able to trust herself and him again? I really liked this story because I liked both Hazel and Tristan. There was a little drama, plenty of steamy scenes, heart warming family moments and just left you feeling happy about the future for these characters.

This was a great collection to introduce you to the Ryker family if you have not read them before. I can't wait now to read about Sera's story.

Matthais Bristow bullied Delia for the first 18 years of her life. It didn't help that he is also her twin brother's best friend and was around all the time with her brother never stopping his friend. Delia has spent the majority of her life getting ready to take over her father's construction company and for the last 10 blissful years has not had to deal with Matthais who now goes by Thai. After her father dies Delia learns he left the construction company to both Delia and her twin brother Dell to try to bring the siblings closer. Dell does not want anything to do with the family company and ends up selling his shares to Thai. Delia now has to deal with Dell and decide if she can forgive him for the past and work together for the future of her company.

Thai has decided that he's tired of doing nothing all the time and wants to learn about the new company he just bought from Dell. He's hoping this might lead to his purpose and redeem himself from all the bullying he did to Delia. Thai is perceived as a jerk in the beginning, but as the book progresses and he realizes the effect his bullying had on Delia, he strives to be a better man.

Delia is a workaholic who is trying to build back her confidence from her childhood. As Thai and Delia work together, Delia learns Thai isn't the same jerk he was before, but is he playing a game with her or is he truly trying to be a better person? I enjoyed how this author wrote this enemies to lovers book. Delia truly made Thai realize what he did and how much it influenced her life. Thai's character development in this book was amazing to witness and even though I didn't like him at the beginning of the book, I thought he was turning into a great man. I loved how Delia grew into her sexuality and confidence. This was the first book I read by Jasinda Wilde, an arc from Greys, but I like how she grew both characters and the steam and will be on the lookout for more books of her. If you like enemies to lovers, slow burn and growth of characters this book is for you.
