Lyric is the new road manager for the band that Wolf plays after just being betrayed by her ex boyfriend who is also a rock star. As soon as Lyric and Wolf meet the chemistry explodes, except Lyric won't be falling for another rock star, thank you very much and Wolf is not looking for a girlfriend. Lyric has grown up with music and while Wolf is the typical rock star, once you peel back the layers you realize Wolf is anything but average.

I enjoyed watching the two get to know each other and fight their attraction and feelings. Through music, lyrics and being around each other the two become closer until it gets harder to try and fight why they shouldn't be together and get together. The only problem is that both have pasts that have shaped them into who they are and there are still secrets between them. Will they learn to trust each other or is it for nothing? After all, trust is hard to give someone after you've been betrayed and without trust your relationship is doomed to fail.

This story focuses mostly on Lyric and Wolf, but the secondary characters help move the story around. I enjoyed meeting the other band members and the other characters. There is one character who I knew right away was bad news, but I didn't know they would go as far as they did! Sorry not giving away anything spoilerish! I did not read these books before this duet was release, but one of the great things about this duet is that it has an extended epilogue and a missing scene at the end. K.K. Allen's writing will suck you into her world and then keep you there until you are finished with the book. I will definitely keep requesting arcs from this author!

This was a short novella that follows the drummer Ty from the band Adrenaline and a solo artist named Abigail. Ty and Abs used to date when they were younger until they broke each other's hearts. Now they have to work together for the next 60 days. The only problem is they both are still hurt from the past and both have tempers. Will they be able to come back together or will it crash and burn? I loved the sexual chemistry and the tempers flying. Rachel did an amazing job writing the hurt and the friendships in this story and I felt the book fly by as I read it. Both Ty and Abigail have reason to hate each other, however, sometimes there is a thin line between love and hate. Ty has to figure out if he can trust Abigail with his heart again and Abigail has to figure out if she can trust herself.
